Justice Matters - Cases that Shaped Law and Society
This hour-long 2007 video, co-produced by the Supreme Court and Twin Cities Public Television’s Minnesota Channel, provides an inside look at the Minnesota’s highest court. Three Supreme Court decisions illustrate the role the Court plays in the state’s justice system and in the lives of Minnesotans. These decisions established recording of in-custody interrogations in criminal investigation, public access to documents collected during discovery in tobacco litigation, and procedures for proceeding with the election occurring eleven days after the death of Senator Wellstone.
