EDUCATION COMMITTEE The Education Committee plans our annual essay scholarship contest and awards prizes for Minnesota History Day. They also work on Civics Education initiatives. | EVENTS COMMITTEE The Events Committee plans all of our events, including 1-hour CLEs, Justice Jeopardy, our annual event, and other special events as requested. | FINANCE COMMITTEE The Finance Committee manages the Society's funds, created an annual budget, and facilitates sponsorships and other large donations. |
GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE The Governance Committee ensures the Society is operating within their bylaws and facilitates the nomination process for board members. | PRESERVATION COMMITTEE The Preservation Committee develops collections procedures, collects oral histories and written materials, and works with the State Law Library to preserve materials. | SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE The Social Media Committee is responsible for the Society's online presence as well as digital marketing, website, and event promotion. |
